Reading the forecast
A DWD station within 100 km of the city centre supplies station forecasts; elsewhere MET supplies city-centre forecasts. MET has no hourly rain chance. Original ICON hourly and GEFS 3 h probabilities are separate choices with different models, grids and issue times. A 2 h comparison uses the maximum of its two hourly values, not the chance of any rain over 2 h. Missing values are never zero-filled; times outside coverage are excluded.
Sources and updates
Uses DWD, MET Norway, NOAA GEFS/DWD ICON EPS published by Open-Meteo, and GeoNames place names. Results show sources, model issue times and check times. Reading a cache does not create a new forecast timestamp, and failed retrieval is never presented as fresh data.
