How the laundry time comparison works

This tool checks each hour in your available time against limits you set, then shows up to three time windows that meet all of them.

  1. Search for a city by name or postal code and choose one. Places with the same name are listed separately with their region and country.
  2. Choose your available hours and how long you need (1, 2 or 3 hours). A window covers [start, end): the hour that begins at the end time is not included.
  3. Set limits for rain chance, precipitation per hour, wind and temperature. A value equal to your limit counts as meeting it. You can turn conditions off.
  4. Every hour in a window must meet every condition you turned on. Up to three non-overlapping windows are shown, ordered by total precipitation, then highest rain chance, then highest wind sample, then earliest start.
  5. Missing values are never treated as zero: such windows are not evaluated. If the data was fetched more than 60 minutes ago, the comparison stops.
